irrigon systems update

March 17, 2019 4:20 pm – Crews will be starting IPS at noon on Saturday. As with any startup, it takes a few hours to fill the system before the booster stations can come on. Booster stations will be turned on as needed, depending on weather and use.

Irrigon Pressure System (IPS): Divers inspected the screens at the river station this morning and are cleaning them. The mainline serving the Oregon Street and Columbia Lane booster stations is still draining. It is a old steel line and will need to be welded. The contractor will be repairing this today or tomorrow morning, as soon as the line drains. FORECAST: Turn the river station on Saturday late morning; booster stations will be turned on as needed.

Division St. Pump Station / Relocation Canal: Work progresses on this project. There is more concrete that needs to be poured. As soon as that is done and cured, we will begin putting water back in. FORECAST: Early to middle next week.
